6350 switch node efficiently act
as multi-service- platform with
a very compact architecture, allowing
flexible configurations by combining
both higher order SDXC (4/4) and
lower order SDXC (4/1) Cross Connect. |

with 20 universal interface slots,
100 Gbit/s capacity per subrack,
400 Gbit/s capacity per back-to-back
rack. It enables unlimited drop
of up to 128 VC-4 signals from a
10 Gbit/s line or multi-ring add-drop
multiplexer. |

Both network protections
as well as equipment protection are integrated
part of the FIBCOM 6350 switch node thereby
eliminating single point of failure. |

architecture is ideal for STM-16 and STM-64
regional/metropolitan rings with nodes
that drop off a mixture of SDH or GbE
signals. The traffic can be protected
using SNC and 2 fibre MS-SPRing protection |
