BTH or Bharat Tourist Home commenced its operations
in the hospitality industry with the Bharat
Hotel back in 1964. With Mr. B.Govinda Rao,
a reputed name in the traditional catering business
of South Indian vegetarian cuisine, at its helm,
Bharat Hotel was a name that had come to stay.
Classified then as an Economy Udupi Hotel, with
a 30-room accommodation facility, 40-seat South
Indian vegetarian restaurant and a conference
hall, Bharat Hotel quickly evolved into a full-fledged
business-class hotel.

including North Indians and Foreigners as well,
