Shradha Suri Marwah – Vice Chairperson
Ms. Shradha Suri Marwah is an economics graduate from the Delhi University. She further went to do two masters – one in management from Leeds, UK and other in Information Systems from the London School of Economics. She joined as Executive Director of Subros in 2000 after a short stint with Six Continents, UK and another one with Reebok India.
She is also Vice-Chairperson at Fibcom and looks after overall operations of the company. She is key to define telecom strategy for the group. She is guiding factor in all the areas of the company and systems. She ensures that the entire team and all the key projects are aligned to achieving company goals. Her experience has helped Fibcom in improving the clarity of goals and purpose, better planned process, and widening of customers nationally and internationally. She ensures that people and processes at Fibcom are aligned to vision defined and are continuously working towards achieving goals of the company.
D.M. Reddy – Managing Director
Mr. Reddy is a mechanical engineer from IIT Chennai and a postgraduate from NITIE Bombay. He has behind him vast experience in the areas of operations, manufacturing resource development, research and development and technology absorption. Mr. Reddy started his career with the Forbes Group in 1987 in Technical services and was handling resource development.
From there he went on to SIEL (Samsung India Electronics Ltd) where he was associated with engineering of new products and manufacturing of air conditioning. After that he joined Blue Star as a Plant Head responsible for HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air conditioning and Cooling) and Refrigeration applications. He grew there to become a Plan Head and In-charge of Technology. Then in BPL he was looking after manufacturing of refrigerators which was having collaboration with Sanyo, Japan.
He joined as Senior VP and then promoted to CEO of Subros in 2001. Suri Group acquired Fibcom in year 2005 and Mr. Reddy became one of the Director of Fibcom. At Fibcom, he is playing significant role in shaping the strategy, Technical collaboration, and ensuring effective change management process. He is also looking into critical areas of Cost Control, Sourcing, Customer Relations, and Opportunities for Future Expansion. It’s because of his charismatic leadership Fibcom could tide over its downtrend and is on sharp growth path.
Prakash Veer – Executive Vice President Sales & Ops
Prakash Veer is an electronic and communication engineer from AMU Aligarh with over 25 years of varied experience in the area of telecom operations, transmission equipment sales, electronic manufacturing, telecom project management, business development and R&D of Aircraft equipments.
Prakash Veer started his carrier from a product manufacturing house and moved to R&D in HAL Lucknow. He was responsible for indigenization of Aircraft panel instruments and successfully achieved significant cost reduction.
In 1990, with the induction of industry’s first optical communication system, he moved to Optel Communication to work in testing, quality assurance, field trials and Customer Support. After gaining 5 years experience he then moved to Fibcom as Manager Testing from where again Industry’s first SDH system was inducted in Indian Telecom Network ( through ITI). Here he was responsible for testing, quality assurance, infrastructure & product approvals and Customer support. During his period of 10 years at Fibcom he handled critical portfolio’s of purchasing, complete operations, Sales & Customer support. He was vital in significant cost reductions during his role in purchase.
Prakash Veer then worked in Reliance Communications where one of the largest optical network of the country with latest technology is operational. He worked in the capacity of Vice President Customer Operation before moving back to Fibcom in Oct’10.
In his current role he is responsible for sales and operations with a clear focus on building Customer loyalty, working with R&D to launch timely products as per market to bring the company on a growing path.
A.M. Gopalakrishnan – Executive Vice President Customer Support & PLS
Mr. Gopalakrishnan is an Electrical Engineer, having Master of Technology degree from IIT Madras. He did his Bachelor of Technology from Govt. Engineering College Trichur (Calicut University).
Mr. Gopalakrishnan currently serves as Executive Vice President at Fibcom. He joined Fibcom in 1995 as Manager. Initially, at Fibcom, he was responsible for testing, Product qualifications, Pre-sales and Customer Support. Since 2005 he has been leading the R&D and product development at Fibcom. He has been focusing on product developments at Fibcom based on market needs and technology while taking Fibcom R&D to the Global standards. Prior to Fibcom, Gopalakrishnan served in various positions at ITI Ltd., Allahabad for about 10 Years.
Mr. Gopalakrishnan has been a key contributor in various areas of optical transmission systems in India.
Rajiv Dewan – Vice President Business Development
Mr. Rajiv Dewan, Vice President of Business Development, is responsible for leading the strategy and development of Key Customer base for Fibcom as well as all Marketing and Sales support activities within the company. He did his Engineering in Electronics & Telecom in 1994 and MBA in 2000 in Operations & International Business.
Rajiv joined Fibcom India Limited in Feb, 2006. Before coming to Fibcom, he served as General Manager (Technical Marketing) with ZTE Corporation in India for various Business Development and Pre Sales activities for the company. Prior to this, he served as the Engineering Manager at Engineer India Ltd. for designing the Telecommunication Systems for various Customers. He also worked with Bharti and Essar at key position during early stage of his career.
He joined as HEAD (Pre Sales) in FIBCOM and shortly promoted to Vice president (Business Development) for his key contribution in terms of developing new customer base and new business areas like Metro Railways and Turnkey projects.
J Seetharaman – Vice President R&D
Mr. Seetharaman is an Electrical & Electronics engineer from Regional Engineering College, Tiruchirapalli, Madras University and Post Graduate Diploma in Management from AIMA, New Delhi, with over 26+ years of R&D experience in the field of Telecom. He has rich experience in the field of product design & development. He is experienced in design and development of switching products, SDH & Carrier Ethernet products.
Seetharaman joined CDOT as part of the first group of fresh engineers. CDOT is one of the premier R&D institutions in India set up for design, development & technology transfer of products. He has worked in CDOT for 18+ years in various capacities. He has moved in CDOT from a fresh engineer to Chief of Business Units handling multiple product teams. He has designed and developed many products and transferred technology to many Indian manufacturers during his tenure in CDOT.
In 2004, he moved to join Telsima Communications Private Limited which is a venture capital funded organization working on Metro Ethernet and WiMAX products. He was responsible for setting up the Bangalore centre and handled product management and product development.
In 2011, he has joined Fibcom India Limited and set up the Bangalore development centre. At present, he is looking after the R&D in Fibcom.
He is an active member of IEEE since 18 years and a fellow of IETE.
