Installation services address your initial startup
needs and help ensure that you get optimal performance
from the product within your network. The customer
receives the following services for Fibcom hardware,
software. The following services are included
in the installation service.

Product unpack
and inspection of the inventory of network
equipment to be installed. |

Assembly of products
including verification of firmware configuration
and parameters, as the case may be. |

Configuration
management including loading system
operational software on supported platforms,
entering configuration and testing of
configuration and connectivity. |

Design : Detailed
logical system design for reference
by the implementation Engineers. |

Product integration
with existing n/w , if any. |

Acceptance testing
of hardware components and basic interconnection
/ connectivity. |

Documentation
: The test result including system documentation
are shared with the client and client
personnel are trained to run the network
effectively. |
Training and knowledge transfer

center to impart product training to our customers.
We provide holistic approach to the product/
network training needs of customers. Leveraging
on our experience and expertise in networking,
we offer world class training services encompassing
a complete range of SDH / DWDM standards and
customized training programs.
Warranty Maintenance
FIBCOMs' Support Services provides customers
with a wide range of solutions and options for
technical assistance, system maintenance, system
performance improvement and skills enhancement.
The solutions are designed to keep customer
networks running smoothly and efficiently.
Service Offerings
FIBCOM's service offerings such as remote emergency
support include remote management and diagnosis.
Technical Assistance Services
Ensures a timely response to customer’s
questions regarding the day-to-day operations
of FIBCOM's products to maximise the customer’s
network utilisation.
Review Meeting Service
Review Meeting Service consists of a formal
discussion forum to be scheduled with the customer
to review the technical, operational and quality
aspects of service performance. Through these
meetings, the customer needs are understood
more closely and action taken to meet the requirements.
Module Repair Facility (MRF)
Fibcom is equipped with an ultra modern in-house
facility for module repairing with qualified
and skilled engineers. Field modules for repair
are analyzed by creating field simulation to
verify the fault. The repaired modules are subjected
to further verification using rigorous tests
to ensure quality repairs.
MRF also includes:

to track areas of potential concern. |

Recommendation
for preventive action. |
Customers are requested to send a filled in
Material Return Authorization form giving details
of service required. The form is provided with
the equipment manual supplied or can be picked
from Fibcom’s Web-site.
On-site maintenance support
Fibcom field service engineers are trained and
equipped to handle SDH and DWDM network. With
service offerings focusing on proactive solutions
our goal is to increase the reliability and
availability of network infrastructure. Engineering
trouble-shooting services are provided with
advance notice scheduling. Post-installation
trouble shooting/fault isolation with purpose
of network restoration and/or performance improvement.
Field service skills provided includes field
upgrades, moves/adds/changes, service provisioning
and configuration optimization.
Software & Firmware upgrades:
Fibcom constantly delivers software and firmware
upgrades to see that the customers get SW updates
out of company software development efforts.
Remote support
Remote Technical support includes online telephonic
support to customers to provide solution to
field problems diagnosis and management. Customers
can also avail remote software configuration/upgrade
facility for monitoring software.
Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)
Customers using Fibcom equipment for which the
warranty has expired, may opt for AMC with Fibcom.
All or part of the above services can be offered
to customers according to requirement.
