With built-in Gigabit Ethernet and Fast Ethernet interfaces, the Tellabs 6340 node can efficiently map Ethernet into SDH via virtual concatenation of VC-12s, VC-3s or VC-4s. This feature enables you to offer Ethernet private lines scaling in steps of 100 kbps with bandwidth up to 100 Mbps. Layer 2 switching enables you to offer Ethernet Private Lines with hard QoS and a high number of Ethernet Private Networks.
