The Fibcom 6335 Edge Node is a compact, full-featured advanced Multi-service Provisioning Platform (MSPP).
It can handle SDH, PDH and data services in a most compact design. It offers reliability with full redundancy on the central switch matrix, the PDH interfaces, synchronization functionality and power supplies. The Fibcom 6335 node can also be equipped as a CWDM or DWDM system with the support of transponders, muxponders and repeaters.
Flexible Solution for Various Applications
Due to its compact size and modular design, Fibcom 6335 node is ideal for smaller POP sites with limited space as well as head end locations. The combination of E1s, STM-1s and Ethernet interfaces in the same node makes this equipment an important building block in both GSM (2G) and UMTS (3G), LTE mobile networks as it can be used as a grooming device in front of Base Station Controllers (BSC), Mobile Switching Centers (MSC) and Radio Network Controllers (RNC).
Customer Benefits:
The Fibcom 6335 node is designed to fit anywhere in the SDH / Data transport network. The advanced compact design makes it a logical choice for the access network, as well as for core networks. Redundant switch matrices, and other advanced features built in the product offer carrier class features. SDH, PDH and Ethernet applications are fully supported by the Fibcom 6335 node.
